A hunt is committed to months before anyone pulls a trigger. Tags, dates, outfitters, gear — all of it gets locked in long before the season opens. Monthly giving is what lets us say yes to a kid in March for a hunt in November.
One-time gifts fund a hunt. Monthly gifts fund a season.
Everything we do runs on a calendar we don’t control. Draw deadlines, lease dates, outfitter bookings — a spot has to be reserved and paid for well ahead of time, and once it’s gone it’s gone for a year.
When giving arrives in a lump at the end of December, we’re guessing in the spring about what we can afford in the fall. When it arrives every month, we can plan. That’s the whole reason the Field Crew exists.
It is not a membership and there is nothing to attend. It’s a standing commitment from people who want a kid in the field who otherwise would never get there.

What each level does
Ammunition, targets, and range time for a youth working through hunter education and their first live-fire sessions.
The core level. Fuel, tags, and licensing for a youth hunt — and roughly a quarter of a full season for one kid.
Covers outfitter fees and guided days — the part of a hunt a family without connections has no way to arrange on their own.
Sends a youth on a full season and starts the next one. Keepers are told which hunt their giving funded.
A full season for one youth runs about $2,500 — tags and licensing, outfitter fees, gear, fuel and lodging, and the processing and taxidermy costs afterward that most programs quietly leave to the family. Fifty people at $50 a month is twelve kids a year, every year, without a single fundraiser.

Field Crew get the annual report — every hunt, every dollar, every kid — a week before it goes public on the transparency page.
Notes from the field
A short write-up after each hunt while the season is running. Photos where the family has given permission, and never a youth’s full name.
What went wrong, too
Weather kills hunts. Draws come up empty. Kids back out. You’ll hear about those the same way you hear about the good ones.
One receipt a year
Recurring gifts get a single consolidated tax receipt covering the whole year — one document for your filing instead of twelve. We do not sell, trade, or rent your information, and we don’t send fundraising blasts.

Email matt@rangeandkeep.com to change the amount or end the gift and we handle it the same day. No retention pitch, no phone tree.
100% of it arrives
Our donation platform charges the organization nothing. There is no salary draw — giving goes to vehicles, hunts, gear, tags, outfitter fees, and trophy costs.
