That is the whole reason Range & Keep exists.

Hunting gets handed down. Somebody takes you the first time. Somebody shows you how to carry a rifle, how to sit still in the cold, how to field dress an animal you just harvested and feel the weight of what you did. If nobody in your family hunts, that chain never reaches you. It is not about money, and it is not about wanting it badly enough. It is about not having the person.

So we become the person. We put vetted adult mentors in the field with young people who have no hunting family, and we teach the whole of it — firearm safety, ethical hunting, fieldcraft, conservation — start to finish, done right.

Because this was never only about the animal. A hunter taught properly becomes a steward: someone who reads the land, takes only what is right to take, wastes nothing, and leaves the country better than they found it. Conservation here has always been carried by hunters. It only keeps being carried if somebody teaches the next ones how.
